This segment of the Parkway runs from just west of the Cutuno-Hager Road overpass to just west of the Middle Fork of the Licking River Bridge. It covers 4.6 miles, from mile points 65 to 69.6.

Construction began on this segment of the Parkway in the fall of 2019 and is expected to be open to traffic in 2024. The Magoffin County West segment will be the fourth section of the Parkway to be completed.

Project Description

  • Widen Parkway to four lanes
  • Move existing Parkway alignment south to reduce costs and environmental impacts
  • Add interchange at KY 3046 (Kernie-Ova-Seitz Road) to provide local access

The maps below illustrate planned improvements for this segment of the Parkway, displaying what the Parkway will look like once construction is complete.
