Experts to share latest information on Magoffin-Floyd segment
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will conduct a Public Information Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 21, in Salyersville regarding the Magoffin-Floyd section of the Mountain Parkway Expansion.
The public meeting will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Magoffin County High School, 1100 Mountain Parkway in Salyersville. It will be an open-house format with the latest maps and exhibits. Project engineers and representatives will be on hand to answer questions.
During the Feb. 21 meeting, the Mountain Parkway Expansion team will provide information about the preliminary alignment of the preferred cross-country segment that would extend the parkway from Salyersville to Prestonsburg. Snow date will be Tuesday, Feb. 28.
